Survival Season 5
The fifth season will open on August 15th at 8 PM EEST!
During the many months before the last season, we decided to change some core mechanics of the Survival realm. Increasing average player involvement in activities and fixing up the economy were some of the things we tackled this time!
Most important changes for this season:
- Latest Minecraft version - the season will start with Minecraft 1.21.8 base version, but we plan to update to the latest versions once they come out. That means you will have a chance to play with the latest features, such as the "Happy Ghasts" and much more!
- Completely rewamped the economy - there are no longer "jobs" available. Instead, at the spawn, you will find the Train Market, where Villagers will offer many trades to earn in-game money.
Important: Every day at 9 PM (EEST), the villager stock will update, possibly even change. That means the trade "stock" is limited, affecting the next day's trades. This is a new approach to the economy, which we plan to evolve even more within this and the following seasons. - Added a new "Spawn world" with a plan for many seasons. We would like to see the player's builds at the spawn to remain in the following seasons as well, so the spawn will "move with the player builds" in the next season - the train will move, NPCs will be in a different spot, etc, and there will be new spawn properties, with a possibility to visit last season's player builds at the spawn.
- Added Teleport Scrolls, which can be bought at the "Train Market" mentioned above. These scrolls will let you move around the server much faster - just set a point at your location and with a right click, you will get teleported wth a few second warmup!
There is also a "Spawn Teleport Scroll", which will teleport you to the spawn and later can be used to get back to the location you teleported from initially. All scrolls have uses, so keep that in mind! - Implemented other QOL fixes and changes - the full changelog will soon be published on Discord.
Besides that, don't forget about the usual Survival features:
- Unique land and team system - protect your builds from others
- Easy-to-use private and public portals
- Cosmetics, quests, and more
- Different events where you can get crystals - special server currency
