FACTIONS RULES
- Rules apply only to the Factions server.
- Compliance with these rules is a mandatory server requirement, and bypassing them is prohibited.
- Any rule violator may be punished at the administration's objective discretion.
- Any punishment can be appealed if the player has irrefutable evidence proving the punishment's invalidity.
- The administration reserves the right to change the server rules without prior notice.
- Punishments can also be issued for actions not mentioned in the rules, provided they are logical and independently evaluated by a legitimate member of the administration.
- Ignorance of the rules does not exempt from punishment.
1. Usage of the game chat
- Use the chat for its intended purpose - meaningful communication.
- Advertising other projects is prohibited.
- Intentionally bypassing the server's censorship is prohibited.
- We do not tolerate any threats made in the game chat.
- Trading for real-life money in the public game chat is not supported.
- "Admin Abuse" is prohibited, meaning constant toxicity or aggression towards a member of the administration.
- It is forbidden to misuse the /helpop and /report commands without justification, thereby disrupting the administration's work.
- The administration advises against using inappropriate language in chat, including homophobia, racism, or suicidal encouragement.
1.1 Player data privacy and its terms
- The player maintains personal responsibility for any data, images, or other information they publicly share.
- The administration does not take responsibility for storing data if the source (e.g., links) cannot be deleted.
- The administration will remove materials containing personal data upon request.
- The administration will punish players if published data, images, or other content is used to ridicule any individual or group.
- The administration does not recommend or encourage the sharing of personal data, photos, or similar content.
1.2 Tricking players in the game is prohibited.
The rule states that the following actions are considered player deception:
- Spreading misleading information about the server in chat – always contact the administration to get accurate information.
- Trading in-game items that appear similar but are fake, such as a renamed piece of paper labeled "/Fly access."
2. Modifications
- Any modification that gives an unfair advantage over other players is prohibited, such as.
- Modifications that give you an unfair advantage over another player.
- Modifications that perform automated actions.
- Modifications that are modified copies of the original.
- Scripts that automatically execute actions.
- Modifications that edit a register or memory field.
- Modifications that spoof information about the player or the player's devices.
- Modifications to FlyBoost.
- Anything above the 28CPS threshold is already considered unfairly outbidding others.
- Rebinding “Attack/Destroy” to something else than default (left button) to gain advantage over other players is prohibited.
- Clicking types - "Drag Clicking", "ButterFly Clicking" isn't allowed.
- Double/Triple Click mice are also counted as unfairly outnumbering others.
- "Clickers" (modifications that imitate any type of mouse clicking) can be on your computer (but not used in the server). If during a "sharescreen" we notice that it was used while you were online in the server, you will be punished, even if you used it outside of Minecraft.
- Printer/Easyplace and similar functions of other modules are allowed.
3. Influencing Competitions
- Any kind of merger of factions and collusion between them is prohibited.
- Any form of faction mergers or agreements between factions is prohibited.
- PvP allying in Warzone areas, including Outpost, KoTH, and other events, is not allowed.
- Providing support to a faction during a raid is prohibited.
- It is forbidden to merge with another faction or provide any value to another faction that is counted towards the “FTOP” leaderboard
Punishment: Both factions will be disqualified from the “FTOP” competition, and they may be permanently deleted.
2. Giving value to other factions is prohibited.
- Giving value to another faction that is counted towards “FTOP” to interfere with other unrelated factions competing for the “FTOP” rewards is not allowed.
Punishment: Both the faction receiving the value and the faction giving the value will be deleted and disqualified from the competition.
- It is forbidden to hide the value in chests or otherwise, after the end of the Grace period - all the value must be placed in the main area of the base.
Punishment: Hidden value, will be confiscated.
Important: If there is a desire to merge with another faction, prior approval must be obtained from the administration. Any value that is not correctly counted in the “FTOP” leaderboard will be deleted.
4. ALT account usage
- It is forbidden to use an ALT account to bypass an active ban.
- It is forbidden to maintain accounts in a faction’s territory that are not members of the faction/roster.
- ALT accounts are prohibited from being used to gain an advantage in raffles or contests.
- ALT accounts are strictly prohibited from being used to create additional factions.
- Each individual may only have one account (technical solutions such as VPN, proxies, etc. are prohibited).
- All other profiles must be registered under the faction using the /f alts system.
- All faction alts must be registered (/f alts) and are intended solely for chunk loading.
- A faction alt may not participate in activities unrelated to territory loading, nor may it attempt to bypass the system that prevents this.
- It is forbidden to participate in events with ALT accounts.
5. Server bugs / Unauthorized activities
- It is forbidden to intentionally affect the server's performance.
- Exploiting server bugs will result in disqualification from the FTOP competition and/or item confiscation, and a game ban
- Exploiting game bugs – any circumvention of game limitations, improper or intentional use of them to gain any advantage.
- If a game bug is found, it must be immediately reported to the administration.
6. Faction rules
- Each faction is allowed to own only 1 corner.
- A faction may claim a maximum of 1 corner in the virtual game map. Maintaining additional corners through alternate accounts or using different IP addresses to bypass this rule is strictly prohibited.
Punishment: The faction will be required to unclaim all territories except for one corner. If the faction refuses to comply, an administrative member will enforce the removal.
2. It is prohibited to obstruct other factions' expansion and development.
- "Bitch Claims" will only be removed during the Grace Period. Once the Grace Period ends, this rule no longer applies.
- Disrupting faction development during the Grace Period is prohibited.
Punishment: The punishment for such actions will be determined by the administrative staff handling the situation.
3. It is prohibited to create “Alt” or additional Factions
- It is strictly forbidden to create “alt” or additional factions to violate or bypass any server rules.
- This rule also applies to creating such factions for holding FTOP value.
Punishment: The “alt” faction will be disbanded, and the main faction will receive a Faction Strike. If the FTOP value is affected, the “alt” faction will be disqualified for the entire season.
- Blowing up spawners to bypass the mining fee is strictly forbidden.
Punishment: The player will receive a 3-day ban from the server, and the faction will be issued an F Strike.
5. It is strictly forbidden to form alliances or team up with other factions to gain an unfair advantage over another faction being attacked.
- This rule also applies to teaming during battles in Darkzone, KoTH, Outposts, and similar areas.
Punishment: If faction “A” helps faction “B” against "C" then both factions will receive F Strikes. PvP allying - 3 day ban for the players involved.
6. Wall repairing limitations
- It is forbidden to repair faction walls that are in line with the base during an active raid using printer, easyplace, or any other modification that provides an unfair advantage by placing blocks faster and more accurately.
!!! An active raid is defined when Faction A has breached at least one wall in Faction B's territory.
Punishment: A 3-day server ban for the offender. On the first offense, a warning will be issued; on repeated offenses, the faction will receive an F Strike.
7. It is forbidden to protect spawners in unfair ways.
- It is forbidden to protect spawners or mine them in order to prevent other factions from acquiring them.
- No blocks, lava, water, or similar objects may be placed within a 3-block radius around the spawner.
- Another spawner may be placed next to the spawner.
- This rule also applies to moving spawners to a different part of the base, changing their Y-level, or relocating them entirely.
!!! The allowed layout for spawners: Wall | Air | Air | Air | Spawner
Punishment: The faction will receive an F Strike, and the player who committed the violation will be banned from joining the server for 3 days. The protected spawners will be taken and returned to the faction that attacked, if they were in line with the attacking faction's cannon barrel or if there was a possibility that the attacking faction could have obtained the spawners. The attacking faction will gain the spawners only if they have reached and destroyed the base's surrounding wall—the wall before the first buffer wall. The removal of "FTOP" value during an active attack is prohibited and will result in the value being taken away, and the attacking faction will receive compensation, regardless of whether the base was reached or not.
8. It is prohibited to cover up a player's ban evasion.
- It is forbidden to cover up a player's ban evasion by accepting their second profile into the faction, regardless of whether the inviter knew who they were or whether the player was banned or not.
Punishment: The person who evaded the ban will receive an extended ban, and the faction will be given an F Strike.
9. Any form of faction betrayal is prohibited.
- It is forbidden to betray or "insider" a faction. When a faction member places items in the faction's territory that contribute to the "FTOP" value, those items become the faction's property. Therefore, without the leader's permission, it is forbidden to remove these items!
- When leaving a faction, you are not allowed to take anything with you. You must leave the faction with "empty hands.".
!!! Lost items can only be retrieved by the top 10 factions, or by a faction that was previously in one of the top 10 positions before this rule violation.
Punishment: If the faction leader can provide valid evidence, the player will receive a 14-day ban from joining the server.
10. Faction member responsibility.
- A player who joins a faction is responsible for their own items upon joining the faction.
- All items placed within the faction belong to the faction, and their personal removal or taking out of the faction is considered as an "Inside," which is punishable.
!!! Items will be returned if sufficient evidence is provided, and the faction was in the FTOP 10 before the incident.
7. Base rules
- It is prohibited for a faction's "buffer" or "claim" to exceed 20 chunks.
- Each faction can occupy a maximum of 20 chunks in a "buffer" area from the first inner wall of their faction base.
- This rule also applies to any attempts to bypass it by constructing defensive elements in the Wilderness, such as "generating" or printing defensive elements, and "Wild Patching" is also considered an illegal defense mechanism.
- The rule also applies to intentional efforts to bypass it by occupying another faction's territory and not using the territory for attack purposes.
- If faction "B" wants to build a base next to faction "A," there must be at least 40 chunks of unclaimed, free territory between the bases of factions "A" and "B."
- Buffer walls should extend from bedrock to the maximum build height.
- Buffer walls must be filled with and can only be filled with WATER.
!!! The buffer claim starts being counted from the first block, including the area beyond the faction's first inner wall.
Punishment: The player who built a defensive element in the Wilderness area will receive a 3-day ban, and the player's faction will receive an F Strike.
- It is forbidden to place redstone within the faction's territory.
- Redstone must not be placed anywhere within the base territory or near the base territory. It is prohibited to place redstone on walls or to create "redstone sand wall check systems.".
Punishment: The faction will be asked to remove the redstone. If the redstone is not removed within 12 hours of the request being issued, the faction will receive an F Strike.
- It is forbidden to be AFK on walls.
- Players are not allowed to leave their game profile AFK (leaving the game “minimized” without controlling it) on the base's walls or in their immediate vicinity.
Punishment: The player will be teleported to the server spawn. If repeated, the faction will receive a warning, and an additional F Strike will be issued.
- It is forbidden to install or create any type of detectors or checkers.
- Using any type of detectors or checkers that provide information about an ongoing attack is prohibited. This does not apply to manual wall checks.
Punishment: The faction will be deleted, and the player who committed the violation will be penalized at the discretion of the administration.
- The faction’s value must be located within one of the base claims or the protected base.
- All faction value must be placed in the main faction base and working farms. It cannot be inside base walls or any other base protection elements. If there is a desire to change the base, the faction territory must first be removed from the old base, and only then can the new base be used.
- Once the "grace" period ends, all factions must have a shield region set up.
!!! The main base is considered the base where the faction's shield region is set.
Punishment: The faction will be asked to move the value that does not comply with the rule. If the faction does not move the value within 24 hours of the request, the faction will be given an F Strike.
6. Factions are not allowed to claim more than 2 attack territories near another faction's base.
- Cannons can occupy a maximum area of 13x13 blocks and up to 16 walls (cannon box wall doesn't count). All walls and structures must be within the raid claim.
- The inner wall of the cannon box is not considered as a protective wall.
- Allowed: A 6x1 chunk area for the cannon barrel.
- Only one cannon is allowed per raid claim.
- When claiming the next attack territory, you can only fire the cannon after 5 minutes.
- If planning to claim a third or fourth territory, all previous territories must be unclaimed, ensuring the faction only has a maximum of 2 attack territories at any time.
Punishment: The faction will be required to remove any extra territory that does not meet the requirements, or remove the territory entirely if it is used for other purposes. If the faction does not remove the territory within 12 hours of the request, the faction will receive a warning, and a repeated violation will result in an F Strike.
If the territory is not used for attack purposes (i.e., there is no cannon in the territory), the faction will have the territory removed.
7. It is forbidden to claim a counter-attack territory larger than 5x5 chunks.
- A counter-attack territory is defined as an area claimed to build a cannon for attacking the opposing faction's cannon.
- The counter-attack territory must not be located between the raid territory and the base. c. The counter-attack territory must not have more than 16 walls on each side.
- A side counter-cannon from the border side is allowed if the raid cannon is further from the border than [ base length + maximum buffer length ]
!!! This rule does not apply to counter-attack cannons located within the base territory.
Punishment: If a faction is caught with a larger counter-attack territory, the faction will be required to remove the excess territory. If the territory is not removed within 12 hours of the request being issued, the faction will receive a warning. If the attack is stopped due to illegal territory, the defending faction will receive an FStrike, their territory will be removed, and everything within it will be destroyed.
- Any kind of unreachable gaps between bases, base sections, and cannon boxes where players cannot access the top or throw pearls. The outer part of the base must be covered with water.
Punishment: In the case of an active raid, the faction's base or cannon box will be flooded. If repeated, an F Strike will be issued.
9. Construction of the base and its defense elements
- It is forbidden to use such blocks in base construction
- "Barrel" blocks
- Cobweb
- This rule does not apply to the Buffer Counter Cannon
- It is forbidden to use Finster Walls or Anti Nuke Walls
- No use of Regen Walls
- Ocean allowed
- Other base rules
- The base size is a maximum of 6x6 chunks
8. Cannon rules
- It is forbidden to use cannons that exploit game or server bugs or negatively impact server performance.
- This rule also applies to "wall remover" cannons.
Punishment: Players who build such cannons and those who operate them (fire the cannon) will receive a 3-day server ban, and their faction will be given an F Strike.
- The use of the following cannons is prohibited:
- Roof Cannon s(on Y:319 and under Y:319)
- Overstacker with 6+ block overstack
- Insta Nukes
- 360 canons
- Chimney
- Multi-Shot Cannons
- Rev Nuking
- Horizontal Nuking
- Anti Gravities
- U Fusions
- Auto Adjust
- UpDown Nukes
- Double Barrel Cannons
- Back Stacking off Border
- Worm/s Cannons
- Pseudo Horizontal Nuking
- Midair
- Mid Air Stacking
- Wall Removers
- T Nukes
Generally the following Cannon types are prohibited:
- Left / Right Shooting Cannons
- Cannons that damage walls horizontally
- Cannons that create holes wider than 5 blocks in walls
- Cannons that destroy multiple walls with a single shot
!!! The rule is considered violated if it is detected that such a cannon type or any of its included features has been used even once. The following punishment applies.
!!! The punishment applies regardless of whether any illegal cannon features were used in the shot or not.
Example: Auto-adjust cannons, even if the "auto adjust" feature is not used during a shot, are still considered illegal .
Punishment: The player(s) who built the cannon and fired it will receive a 3-day ban from the server, and the faction will receive an F Strike.
- Only one faction can raid another faction at a time.
- It is forbidden to use more than one cannon to attack a single faction simultaneously. Only one faction is allowed to attack another at the same time. If faction "A" is being attacked by faction "B", faction "C" must not be near faction "A"'s base and must not start an attack from the same or a different side of faction "A". If faction "B" stops its attack on faction "A", faction "C" can only start an attack 15 minutes after faction "B" has fired its last shot. If faction "B" reaches faction "A"'s base, faction "C" can only be at faction "A"'s base after 15 minutes.
- Once faction "B"'s Raid-Timer expires, faction "C" may immediately begin their raid, and faction "A" can no longer participate in the raid
Punishment: If a faction uses more than one cannon to attack, their cannon will be destroyed, and the faction will receive an F Strike If another faction starts an attack from a different side while a faction is already attacking, the faction that started the attack last will receive a warning. Repeated offenses will result in an F Strike.
- It is forbidden to use cannons, that are faster than 3 seconds. Cannons can't destroy 1 wall faster than 3 seconds.
Punishment: The player(s) who built the cannon and fired it will receive a 3-day server ban, and the faction will receive an F Strike
- It is forbidden to intentionally use the Raid Timer system to interfere with the use of spawners.
- It is forbidden to intentionally use the Raid Timer system to prevent factions from mining spawners by creating fake raids or continuously placing them in raid timer mode without destroying any walls.
Punishment: The faction will receive an F Strike. The player who activated the Factions Lockdown system will be banned for 3 days
- Buffer "Counter" cannons.
- Only one "counter" cannon is allowed on each side of the buffer for a faction.
- The maximum number of walls for a Side Counter Cannon is 32 walls (excluding internal cannon walls).
RAID:
If a raid is initiated with a Buffer Side Counter Cannon, it must comply with the following rules:
- "Base rules" - point #7.
- "Allowed cannon rules".
!!! If the cannon and its territory do not comply with the rules, it will be considered an illegal Raid Claim, and the raid cannot be started or continued.
Punishment: An unauthorized "Raid Cannon" raid will be halted, and the faction will receive an F Strike.
DEFENSE:
If the cannon is used solely as a Raid prevention area.
- The cannon complies with the allowed cannon rules.
- The number of protective walls does not exceed 32 walls (excluding internal cannon walls).
Punishment: Unauthorized "Counter Cannons" will be destroyed, and the faction will receive an F Strike.
- It is forbidden to use Sandbots or other automatic tools as defensive elements in any type of attack.
- It is forbidden to use Sandbots for creating base walls; they are only allowed to be placed in areas where "cannons" are located.
Punishment: The player(s) who used automatic tools will receive a 3-day server ban, and the faction will receive an F Strike.
- Using a cannon under an active faction shield region is forbidden.
Punishment: For bypassing and exploiting this rule, the faction will receive an FStrike, and the player who fired the cannon will be banned for 3 days.
- A faction is allowed to raid another faction while their own faction shield is active, but they must not use any "Side Counter Cannons" located in their base for the raid.
- b. The shield region cannot be used for a "Raid claim with a cannon," thus creating an unraidable cannon box.
9. Server general rules
- Item names containing inappropriate or offensive language are prohibited.
- Faction names containing inappropriate or offensive language are prohibited.
- Usernames ("nicks") containing inappropriate or offensive language are prohibited.
- Misusing the /helpop and /report commands without valid reason to disrupt staff work is forbidden.
- Encouraging others to break the rules is strictly prohibited.
10. Submitting a complaint
- A complaint must be submitted within 24 hours of detecting the violation or issue.
- The staff is not obligated to search for evidence related to the reported violation.
- The staff will verify the authenticity and validity of the provided evidence to the best of their ability.
- A response to the complaint will be provided within 3 days, with a final decision given after verifying the complaint's truthfulness.
- In cases of false or repeated accusations, the staff has the right to issue a punishment without the possibility of a ban appeal.
11. Submitting a ban appeal
- An appeal is considered valid only if it includes sufficient evidence proving the punishment was unjustified.
- Appeals for any type of ban must be submitted within 48 hours.
- Appeals submitted after the deadline may be rejected without review.
- The staff has the right not to disclose the evidence used as the basis for the ban.
- Evidence will only be presented upon request from senior management.
- Staff may take previous punishment history into account when deciding on the appeal.
- The staff must provide a response within 3 days, and the final decision will be made after verifying the appeal's validity.
12. Punishment policy
- Punishments are issued by the staff based on their objective judgment.
- If you believe a punishment is unfair or too severe, you may submit a ban appeal, which will be reviewed by higher-ranking staff members.
13. "ScreenShare" policy
- During a ScreenShare or after being informed that you are under review, you are not allowed to delete or modify files or leave the server.
- It is forbidden to refuse a ScreenShare or to ignore instructions given by a staff member during the inspection.
Punishment: Anyone who refuses to cooperate during a ScreenShare agrees to receive a 14-day ban.
STRIKES
For every 2 member bans received, a faction receives one strike.
→ STRIKE 1 - Just a warning
→ STRIKE 2 - 15% potential worth is removed
→ STRIKE 3 - 30% potential worth is removed
→ STRIKE 4 - 50% potential worth is removed
→ STRIKE 5 - 75% potential worth is removed
→ STRIKE 6 - Faction disband
